The Tioindigo Gallery invites yours Rap ture, an exhibition of paintings by the Belarus artist Vasily Peshkun. Heartfelt and sincere, comprehensible and familiar to a the artists work delights both connois seurs of painting and untrained viewers.
Peshkun is masterly in his use of colour, lightly and vividly expressing on canvas the beauty of the world around him the calm and tranquillity of country life, the rhythm of big cities. He is a master of nature painting who works a great deal in the open air and is able to capture and record on canvas the fleeting mood and constantly changing state of nature. As a receptive man with keen emotions, the artist easily finds subjects for his paint ings, being able to see beauty in the most humdrum, everyday situations. He never tires of admiring the beauty and harmony richness and variety of the world around him, transferring to canvas not only ifs visual features and contours, butalso. own personal experiences and imore sions of what he sees. On 27 July the Tioindigo Gallery is launching an individual exhibition of paintings by Ser-gey Fedenko, whose work is a valuable artistic phenomenon. His painting reveals a fabulous world, full of mysteries and discoveries.
In this world a long-cherished dream comes true: man and the universe existing in perfect harmony. Until 22 August. P, 82.

The First Results
ens of painting by students of its art class are a tradition at he "Tioindigo" Gallery. The beginners' drawing group, the painting class and the creative group are taken by Lyudmila Semyonova. In the course of the year her students learn the subtleties of drawing, accumulate experience, knowledge and impressions and copy well-known works of art, helping them to understand the compositional structure of the works and master the methods of famous paint-ers. The results of all this - original paintings and copies of famous works of art - can be seen at the gallery from 15 to 30 October.

Начальную группу рисунка, класс живописи и творческую секцию ведет Людмила Семе-нова.
